Connie finally talked me into taking a trip to the Oregon Coast. Its not all that easy to get away, due to the critters that I have accumulated. This time with Harry here tame hacking his falcon, I had a house sitter for a change.
I have never had the opportunity to see the North Coast, and that had been our original plan, but again it was not to be, but a short one is better than none at all.
The fifth wheel was both liberating as well as limiting. We spent the first night at a snow park by Crater Lake. Then visited an old friend in Brookings for two nights. While there we were able to visit the Redwoods, and a lot of the pictures are from there. It was pretty dark inside all that towering Redwoods, so the photos do not do the actual area justice, but its the best that I could do.
After two days we moved on up the coast to Charleston, and Sunset Bay campground. We could only get a two day spot so we moved north for about 10 miles and stayed in Bastendorf Beach where we spent another two days.
The rest of the pictures are from Shore Acres Park, and their formal gardens, and scenic seashore..
The pictures are a bit jumbled, and this program seems to like to mix them up for me.
