I was concerned that there might be something wrong with my spare headset and I was concentrating so much on that problem, that I forgot to turn the camera on. So I re flew it the next day and I sent all of you the link to the video. I have included it just in case you would like to see it again.

The weather socked in again, and we had rain- lots of rain, at least for this area. We got a little break and I managed to go fishing. The gal that found Jessie had mentioned that she liked to go fishing, so I decided that I would take her the next time I went. She is a sweet and smart gal, and it didn't take her very long before she informed me that she had given up on men, and every thing that went with them, butttttttttttt she would however go fishing with me. She didn't disappoint, her wit and humor, as well as her agility in crossing the Owyhee through some knee deep fast water, made her a great companion. I'm Planning another trip real soon.
We caught a limit of Bass for me, unknown how many she turned loose. When we arrived I told her where the Bass liked to hang out and she caught a average sized Bass on the first cast. I then reverted to Catfish, and caught a nice one within about 5 minutes of casting out. Sue kept saying "this just isn't right". Apparently I am one hell of a guide!
When I got home I ate one meal of Bass fillets, packaged the other two bunches, and started the Catfish soaking in a brine so that I could smoke them the next day. I am about to run out, so its time to go fishing again.
Another storm began building and the clouds were pretty nice. Here are three of the best.
Connie had mentioned that she was concerned that her cat, Chilli might have a mishap with a Rattle Snake. While I assurred her that the snake would tip off the Cat as to how dangerous they were, when I ran across a small Gopher snake I put it out in the yard and brought both cats up. Strangely this particular Snake had about the sweetest disposition that I had ever seen in a Gopher Snake.
Then the next day, I look outside and that damned Tiger is carrying a Racer is his mouth, brings it to the corner of the house and spit it out as if to say "My rent is paid for this month too". The only thing that I can think of is that Racers are so skinny and fast that dummy thought it was a string to chase.
He hid a Leopard Lizzard in the rug in front of the stove two days ago.
Every year there is a Mule Deer Doe that has her baby across the creek from the house. Connie and I had been seeing her for a week or so, but had yet to see her baby.
This afternoon I noticed her feeding down by the creek. Normally she is on the other side of the Creek in the gigantic Sage that lives over there. The Deer like it because the Sage is taller than they are and it gives perfect cover for them. Tonight I noticed her on the cleared side of the Sage at the bottom of the hill. I looked and could see a fawn. She had hidden them on my side of the creek. She is not concerned with the Dogs, but I bet she treats Coyotes a bit differently.
looks like a nice fawn.
Wait, that doesn't really look right.
Look close, his neck isn't right.
Well that's why, there's two of them.
This is about her 6th or more times that she has given birth here, and threatened my garden too, I might add. This is the first that I have seen twins.
